The DIGIVEX Motion series has all the advantages of the DIGIVEX Drive but it also includes two built-in processors (1 microprocessor and 1 DSP) with sophisticated capacities for total motion control :

Connection to CANopen bus for high-level communication


A real time multitasking structure

The DIGIVEX Motion series has been designed around a real time multitask structure which includes :

A motion program

A general tasks PLC program

A fast PLC program

Special programs triggered by interrupting inputs

This advanced structure provides the great flexibility of DIGIVEX Motion products, notably the possibility of modifying parameters such as destination, speed and acceleration, even during movement.


Powerful, advanced programming

All user programs are written in the same language using a comprehensive set of easily understandable instructions.
The use of parameters (512 internal variables) further improves this programming flexibility ; the parameters (machine and user variables) can be modified directly, even during movement (by the CANopen connection, for example).

The following examples give some idea of the possibilities of the DIGIVEX Motion range and of its adaptability for a very wide range of applications.
